The chicks are not an exact match but its more the adults I was referring to. The adult plumage is very similar. I also have this colour amongst my flock. I prefer the gold colour like the buttercups and in Australia, will go that way.
If you have no standard at present, it is something you as a breeder group should address. Those that are working towards the breed ressurection need to all agree on the points the birds need to aspire to. Get a consensus, but also write it down. Get a script together, one that addresses the historical look of the breed and then include any extra colurs you wish to include. There would be many master breeders that should be able to do this.
For the color I think it's partridge (ebc) to like the Sicilian chickens.
Likely than other chickens has been lost, we want to maintain purity.
In Italy there is no culture of protection for chickens, for me it is important to the genetic heritage of this flock.
Many genetic varieties have become extinct in Italy, for now it is important not to extinguish these chickens.

Coloro che stanno lavorando per la risurrezione della razza necessità di concordare tutti i punti dei polli che hanno bisogno di essere corretti . Ottenere un consenso, ma anche scrivere. Prendi un copione insieme, quella che affronta l'aspetto storico della razza e quindi includere eventuali colori aggiuntivi che si desidera includere. Probabile che in altre polli sia andato perso ,vogliamo mantenere la purezza.
In Italia non esiste la cultura di salvaguardia per polli ,per me è importante il patrimonio genetico di questo gregge .
Molte varietà genetiche sono estinte in Italia ,per ora è importante non fare estinguere questi polli.
