I breed different lines of color of the wild type and partridge. I also have the original French flèche small




I was going to try to get La Fleche into Australia via the Import Syndicate but I can make this myself. I think the Hornets have a much better horn type spreading outwards like a large flower. The La Fleche is quite a tight comb, typically smaller. Its just whether you can keep the hornets comb size right up there when they get to homozygote stage.

A tip. Single combs are usally in the mid range for size. If one could extract size from the large leghorn comb and introduce it to horn, I wonder if that would make homozygotes express a larger tissue mass even if it were homozygote. It would have to be introduced in stages through buttercup, then horn.
